R Shiny Developer

Seeking an R Shiny Developer to join the growing R Programming Team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain R programs which support the development of state-of-the-art reports and, at times, shiny applications, used by biostatisticians and statistical programmers worldwide. Reporting to the R Shiny Programming Lead, you will contribute to multiple projects aimed at improving the success, efficiency, and quality of our trials from design to statistical reporting, data exploration, and visualization.

The preferred R stack experience includes dplyr, rmarkdown, dbplyr, ggplot2, roxygen, and plotly to solve complex challenges. Note, the collaborative team member typically reports to the team lead, though only requires minimal direction.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Use data and visualizations to inform business solutions

  • Organize data, analysis, reports, and applications into reproducible repositories

  • Provide technical documentation

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining SQL code

  • 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining R code

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

R Programmer

The RWE group is looking for a candidate with the below qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in Real World Evidence analytics.

  • In-depth experience with R and SAS.

  • Familiarity and hands-on programming experience with common RWE data assets, including administrative claims and electronic health records databases.

  • Experience with oncology specific RWE data assets.

  • Background in biostatistics, public health, epidemiology, or similar field.

  • Experience in delivering both ad-hoc (eg, feasibility counts) and full protocol-driven observational studies in the RWE space.

  • Comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders to shape analyses.

Preferred experience:

  • Experience with SQL • Ability to program and/or validate code across multiple languages (eg, SAS and R)

  • Experience with multiple therapeutic areas in the RWE space

 

Study Biostatistician in Translational Medicine

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with translational medicine lead and clinical statisticians in writing, reviewing and executing protocols and statistical analysis plans (SAP) for biomarkers and diagnostics, highlighting the biomarker strategy for clinical drug development.

  • Oversee execution of the statistical analyses according to the SAP, prepare statistical methods & provide statistical insight into interpretation and discussion of results sections for the clinical study report (CSR) and/or publications to ensure the statistical integrity of the content according to internal standards and regulatory guidelines and in compliance with SOPs.

  • Perform relevant and innovative statistical analyses of high-dimensional (e.g., gene expression, sequencing) data generated by R programming language.

  • Develop, implement, and apply state-of-the-art R algorithms to address key business problems and drive the implementation of innovative statistical methods in support of biomarker strategy.

  • Perform and/or coordinate with study programmer the production of biomarker statistical analyses. Review and examine statistical data distributions/properties.

Required Education/Experience:

  • PhD/MS in statistics or related discipline; MS candidate requires a minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical experience.

  • Proficient in R and cloud platforms.

  • Strong experience in biomarker data analysis with data generated from clinical trials.

  • Experience in the analysis of data generated by one or more -omics or molecular assays are preferred.

  • Experience developing statistical and machine learning models on high dimensional and high throughput data for time to event data and longitudinal outcomes.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and to handle several concurrent, fast-paced projects.

 

R, Cloud Infrastructure & Safety Applications

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Infrastructure Management:

  • Lead the management and maintenance of Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) accounts on AWS or Azure.

  • Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud-based infrastructure.

  • Monitor and optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency.

2. Data Science Support:

  • Utilize R to perform complex data analysis and provide actionable insights.

  • Implement and guide best practices for data storage, retrieval, and processing in the cloud environment.

3. GxP System Support:

  • Provide strategic technical support for systems compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GxP) standards.

  • Play a key role in validation activities, including documentation, audit preparation, and compliance oversight.

  • Ensure robust data integrity and security within GxP systems.

4. Database Expertise:

  • Extensive experience with relational databases, such as Oracle, for managing and optimizing large-scale data.

  • Proficiency in NoSQL databases like MongoDB for handling unstructured or semi-structured data.

  • Experience with big data infrastructure like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, etc.

5. Tool Proficiency:

  • Mastery of data science tools, libraries, and frameworks for advanced analytics, modeling, and visualization.

  • Stay at the forefront of emerging data science and cloud technologies.

6. Web, Mobile App Development and Qlik (Preferred):

  • Building custom or web-based applications using modern web frameworks.

  • Experience or leadership in mobile app development is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency with Qlik for data visualization, business intelligence, and strategic decision support is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Extensive experience in the R programming languages.

  • Proven track record in managing and configuring AWS or Azure cloud resources.

  • Deep knowledge of GxP regulations and a demonstrated ability to support GxP systems.

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.   • Collaborative mindset and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
